Tavern Anatoli

The Tavern Anatoli , is a family business that offers traditional dishes and specialties since 1995. It lies on the southern coast of Crete 2km east of the tranquil coastal village of Lentas near by the sea - so close to the sea that you can jump into it in the morning before you have breakfast in the tavern with freshly squeezed orange juice, yogurt with fruit and other treats.

After or between the sunbathing, swimming and relaxing on long natural beach you can treat yourself to a cool drink at the bar, a Greek salad with our own olive oil or a portion of fried fish that tavern host Aris fished in the morning.

In the evening when the sun has gone down, it is really comfortable in the tavern. You find yourself on a blue wooden table. What could be nicer than to end the day under a starry sky and the sound of the sea with a cold country wine?

The tavern offers everything from vegetables and meat specialties from the grill to always fresh, self-caught fish on the weekend of the big stone oven. Aris is also popular for his own fish soup and the delicious tzatziki.

About twice a month, the tavern, including beach becomes a stage. Local musicians invite you to dance. Their songs tell of the hard but happy life in the mountains and of course love.
